Spend four weeks this summer writing your personal story.
You'll generate material from your own personal experiences, learn to act,
and craft your work into a final public performance created entirely
about your life. You'll get the space and skills to gain a public voice, work with
professional female artists and performers, and make new friends
from all walks of life.
If you're a 12-17 year old grrrl, you can participate. You don't have to
have any writing or performance “talent”--just an interest in telling your
own story.
The dates and times for this years ALAG program are: Monday-Friday, June 4-29; 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Tuition: Tuition for the program is $500, due June 1. Scholarships are available on the
basis of need, not merit, and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
